Diversity
It seems to me that a lot of people, and a lot of their attitudes, are formed by a fundamental fear of the 'other', especially the stranger. The Christian faith should radically transform us from such fear... |
You are different to me,
But that doesn't mean
You're wrong.
You are different to me,
But that doesn't mean
I'm wrong.
~ ~
You are different to me,
And I refuse
To fear you.
You are different to me;
No need to force
My own view.
~ ~
You are different to me;
Let us resolve
Not to fight.
You are different to me;
I have no right
To be right.
~ ~
You are different to me:
Compromise
Isn't a sin.
You are different to me:
Forgiveness,
Our oxygen.
~ ~
You are different to me:
Comparisons
Are pointless.
You are different to me;
Let's rise above
Prejudice.
~ ~
You are different to me,
And I will
Celebrate this.
You are different to me;
Together
There's such richness.
~ ~
You are different to me,
Yet deep down
So much the same.
You are different to me;
Children of God,
Called by name.
~ ~
You are different to me:
God delights
In both of us.
You are different to me;
Both saved by
Brother Jesus.
~ ~
You are different to me,
And I find myself
Through you.
You are different to me;
I see God
Dwelling in you.
~ ~
You are different to me;
Yes, you are
Blessing to me.
You are different to me;
Thank God
For diversity!
