The Gospel in Fifty Words

To understand the Bible, you need to grasp the core of the Gospel message, and then interpret everything else by that core message.

This is my summation of what that core is. What do you think? Would you put it differently?

God

Is love,

Complete in Himself,

As Trinity.

He didn't need us,

Yet

Created all of us

As an overflowing of His love.

Sin

Is our rejection of (His) love,

But eternal life

With Him

Is ours already,

Because Jesus

Enfleshed,

Died,

And rose,

To destroy death's hold on us.
